PTE and IELTS are English proficiency tests required to prove your English skills and are accepted by many countries around the world including Australia. A PTE score of 50-57 or IELTS score of 6 is considered as competent skill level. For most courses this is normally the minimum required score by Education providers in Australia. Grading for PTE are done by Artificial Intelligence (AI) while IELTS are done by specialized human examiners.

Australia is divided geographically into various states and territories with each one of them having a capitol city. These cities are Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin, Brisbane and Canberra.

SOP – Statement of Purpose. This document is written by the applicant for Australian Government to prove that he/she is a genuine student and intends to return to their country of residence upon completion of his/her studies.

GTE – Genuine Temporary Entrant. This is the framework used by the Australian Government to assess the applicant as a genuine temporary entrant. Via this process the assessing offer has to be convinced that upon completion of your studies you will return to your country of origin. And that you are not intending to use your student visa as a way to get residency in Australia.

COE: – Certificate of Enrollment. This document is issued by your Education provider and is normally the final document required before you can apply for your student visa.

Coming to Australia on a student visa is not an ordinary process and as advised to give yourself 6 to 12 months of preparation for end to end process. Such as getting your Passport, IELTS/PTE Exams and Score, sittings with your career/course consultant, various correspondences with various institutions before you can apply for Student Visa.

Generally students are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week in Australia. But this can vary depending upon the type of course you are pursuing and the current rules mandated by the Australian Government.

The type of part-time work that you can find largely depends on your current skillsets, English language fluency and your desires. We can direct you to various resources to find part-time work but cannot guarantee the type of work and time taken to find work.
